Breakthrough Technology That Works HughesNet Voice

The conventional is no longer in trend in telecom services as we advance into the third decade of the 21st century. Not for HughesNet phone service, by any means. Dominating the traditional landline phone service with state-of-the-art next-gen VoIP technology, HughesNet Voice is a futuristic choice that comes with the reliability of conventional copper-line phone service.

How does it work? Well, it is pretty simple in fact. The analog telephone adapter provided to the consumer routes calls through the satellite connection using the modem and the dish.

Does that mean HughesNet Voice eats up on the data allowed by the internet service plan from the provider? Well, not at all. The data allowance that comes with your internet plan remains intact even though the voice service utilizes the same satellite connection. That is the beauty of this technologically optimized service!

There are 4 HughesNet internet plans divided according to data allowance i.e. 10 GB, 20 GB, 30 GB, and 50 GB.
HughesNet internet plans do have a data usage allowance for each tier. However, the provider does not cut off your connection with the World Wide Web even after you have exceeded your quota. You get to browse at a reduced speed between 1-3 Mbps until the new billing cycle starts. The Bonus Zone which lets you enjoy 50 GB/mo. during off-peak hours, is always there for you to utilize regardless of your service plan.
All HughesNet plans come with a 24-month service agreement. If you wish to cancel your plan midway, an Early Termination Fee applies.

*If you exceed your monthly plan data, you will experience reduced data speeds until the start of your next billing period.
Reduced speeds will typically be in the range of 1 - 3 Mbps and may cause Web sites to load more slowly or affect the performance of certain activities, such as video streaming or large downloads/uploads.
