Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) FAQs

The ACP benefits allow you to get a government credit on your Internet service bill. The benefits are:

  • Internet service discount up to $30/month*
  • Internet service discount up to $75/month on qualifying Tribal lands*

*Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household. Not every internet company offers device discounts.

You will need to fill out your personal information on the United States government-run website GetInternet.gov. This information will be used to find out if you qualify for the ACP discount. Here is the main information you will need to provide to apply:

  • Last four digits of your Social Security Number, a Tribal ID number, or other government ID (Driver's License, Passport, etc.). This will be used to verify your identity. Providing a Social Security Number may reduce the need to provide extra documentation.
  • An valid email address that you check often so you can get a status on your ACP application.

You may need to provide additional documents to the government. The GetInternet.gov website will let you know what to submit if more information is needed to process your application.
