Is There a Wow Internet Data Cap?

When the pandemic struck in 2020, WOW assured its customers data-cap-free internet plans for the entirety of its service. However, only a year later in June 2021, WOW notified its users that it was imposing data caps, starting in Ohio. This went on to involve Augusta (GA), Newnan (GA), Panama City (FL), Detroit (MI), Mid-Michigan (MI), Knoxville (TN), and Fort Gordon (GA) markets.

Currently WOW! offers both unlimited and capped data plans. What’s available to you depends on the specific WOW! market you are in. But even with the capped plan, the provider offers generous data allowance—ranging from 1.5 TB to up to 3 TB.

The good thing is your overage fee will be automatically waived the first time you exceed your data limit. After that point, you can expect to be charged $10 for each 50GB of additional data you use over and above—up to a maximum of $50 per calendar month.
