In the second season of the show, Alex’s friend finds out about the Russo siblings’ wizard powers. However, the siblings are required to keep their powers hidden from everyone while living in the mortal world, which puts a strain on their relationships with non-wizard friends.
Once the Russo siblings complete their training, they will have a wizard competition that will decide who will retain the sole custody of their family powers forever, while the other two siblings will lose their powers and become mortal.
